Alleged benefit overpayment

A 66-year-old woman had not received any social security benefit for over two years and had not believed that anyone would be able to help her. However, when she received a bill for an alleged overpayment of £10,000 she came to Law For All.

We successfully overturned the overpayment decision and applied for her Income Support to be reinstated. She was granted ongoing benefit and a backdated payment of £3,200.
